A Family Tradition! – Craig and Heather’s Story

Who knew that treating the person you love most in the world to a special piece of jewellery could snowball into a shopping tradition that would continue for generations to come?  Craig and Heather know all too well the value of marking your special occasions with a beautiful piece of jewellery and creating memories that will be passed on forever.  Here is their story: 

Our family has been a customer of La Maison d’Or for over 3 decades. My parents, Phyllis and John were the first in our family to purchase beautiful pieces of jewellery. My father often loved to spoil my mother with unique and carefully crafted pieces. 

In 1992 my husband, Craig, proposed to me. We were married August 6th, 1994, and Craig still happily wears his custom designed wedding ring that Brent helped me to design for him.  

A few years later, Craig had several emerald custom designed pieces made for me, including my gorgeous Emerald and Diamond platinum ring. Brent went out of his way to find the perfect half-moon diamonds for my spectacular ring. Over the years many gifts for loved ones were purchased at La Maison d’Or by our family for all kinds of special occasions. 

Most recently, our son, Callum got married. He and his wife, Emily, also chose to work with La Maison d’Or for their engagement and wedding rings. 

As we celebrate 30 years of marriage, we have stayed in contact with La Maison d’Or. We plan to purchase something new in the future and know that the amazing team at La Maison d’Or will help us not only make the experience memorable but the piece itself perfect!
