Design and Feedback 

After narrowing down your preferences, we create  hand-drawn sketches in front of you, incorporating your suggestions and alterations right away. This iterative and collaborative process ensures the design aligns with your ultimate vision.

Computer-Aided (CAD) Modeling and Wax Prototype 

Once you approve the sketches, a CAD model is created, providing a 3D view of the ring. Next, a wax prototype is printed, allowing you to see and feel the design before the final casting.

Final Creation

If everything meets your expectations, the wax model is cast in your chosen metal. The final piece is meticulously crafted, ensuring every detail is perfect.

Completion and Aftercare

We offer a comprehensive 10-year warranty, including annual check-ups, stone tightening, appraisals, and polishing to keep your ring in pristine condition.

• How do you get started with a custom engagement or wedding ring?

The best way to get started creating a custom engagement ring is to come in for a visit!  We always recommend you do a little dreaming before we start, to see what details catch your eye.  Try on lots of styles, browse online, and keep photos of what you like.  Don't worry about finding the "perfect" ring.  What we are trying to do, is to get a feel for your style and personality.  We will take all of your favorite details and use them to create a ring that is custom-tailored to your personal style and preferred price point.

• Is it more expensive to get a custom wedding or engagement ring?

Not necessarily!  The cost of a custom ring depends entirely on the details you choose.  For instance, a highly detailed design with hand-carved vintage-style engraving takes the goldsmith much more time to create than a simple solitaire with clean lines.  Your cost is also determined by the quality, quantity, and size of the stones you choose, and whether you decide on 10kt, 14kt, 18kt gold, or platinum.   This means that by going with a custom design, we can help you to create your perfect ring at ANY price point.

• How long does a custom ring or band take to make?

It takes roughly 6-8 weeks for a custom design. Our design process keeps you involved step by step as your ring is being made.  We start with a hand-drawn sketch that we will create right in front of you.  From there you'll see a CAD image of your ring to help you visualize the final design.  Then we print a wax for you to try on.  This allows you to see the height and width of the piece as well as all the intricate details to scale.  We can still make adjustments as we work through these steps, ensuring when we get the final piece, it is everything you've been dreaming of.

• What can you choose when it comes to a custom ring? What are my options?

Your options are limitless!  The beauty of custom designing your ring is that you can have everything you want.  Our team specializes in working with you to truly get to know your style and preferences, and can help you to choose every element of your ring to ensure that when you open the box, your ring is everything you've been dreaming of.
